About the Event
Welcome to the Our Lady of the Assumption 5K, Fr. Steve 1K Run/Walk, and pancake breakfast.
In keeping with the way our Parish does things we are tackling 3 things at once. This is a Parish event, we have something for everyone runners, walkers, eaters, boys, girls, families, friends, seniors, singles – As Fr. Steve professes “All are Welcome at OLA”.
All events will be at Ventura Community Park with the Pancake breakfast and Awards Ceremony following the races at Assumption Hall(Yes we changed the venue)
- 5k (3.1 miles) – Ventura Community Park
- Fr Steve 1K Fun Run/Walk (less than a mile) - Ventura Community Park
- Pancake breakfast 8:30 to 11:00 am – Assumption Hall
- Awards Ceremony following the race - Assumption Hall
All 5k runners will receive a tech shirt, local business discounts, & free pancake breakfast!
If you have never run a 5K this is a great first race for you.
We need volunteers and sponsors – remember this is fund raiser for the Parish Youth programs and OLA Ministries.
